St. John Vianney, Cure d’Ars and Patron of Priests says:  “Praise be to Jesus.”

“I tell you, many a soul awaits deliverance from Purgatory because they practiced virtue to impress others.  This defies humility and simplicity of heart.  The practice of virtue needs to be between the soul and God.  Do not try to portray yourself as a victim soul or as one who is all-knowing due to special gifts.  Do not make yourself the center of conversation, but divert attention to others.”

“Remain in the background as much as possible – always communing with God.”

“To be holy means you care more about your relationship with God than what others think of you.  This is humility and simplicity.”

“Reach out to others in humility and simplicity.”

“I am your Jesus, born Incarnate.”

“I have come to tell you that Satan uses devious ways to compromise the Truth.  He is not always so obvious as to boldly proclaim a lie.  Very often, he uses the tactic of silence in the face of error.  Silence speaks boldly in the support of error.  Many world leaders choose this tactic as their main line of defense against Truth causing confusion and resulting in compromise.”

“I tell you these things so as to increase your vigilance in a world so fraught with the compromise of Truth.  Be cautious in choosing whom you follow and whom you support.  Many choices have long-term effects as to the future.”

“The Censor of all Truth is Holy Love, for whoever opposes Holy Love does not stand for the Truth.  Remember, no Truth opposes Holy Love.”
